Front End Loader and Roller Course Structure
RIIMPO321F – This course will give you the skills and confidence to operate a front end loader. Once you complete it you will be ready to contribute to a civil construction worksite upon completion and apply your front end loader operation skills in a real-world setting.
RIIMPO317F – This course will also give you the ability to conduct civil construction roller operations. You will learn how to plan and prepare for roller operations, carry out compaction of materials, work safely and efficiently with a roller, and much more.

Obtaining Your License
Upon successful completion of these courses, students will be provided with a digital card (PDF) and a statement of attainment for Front End Loader and Roller Operations.
Front End Loader and Roller Ticket Pre-Requisites
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants will be required to undertake pre-course reading and an activity book to ensure an understanding of the learning content that will be reviewed in the class contact time. These materials will be supplied to the students upon enrolment and payment of the course.
- COVE Training does not have CRICOS accreditation and is unable to train students on an ‘International Student’ VISA.

FAQs
What tonnage Excavators will this course allow me to operate?
On successful completion of this course, you will be allowed to operate any size Excavator as there is currently no size limit as long as the machine is classified as an Excavator.
What size excavators do you have?
We currently have 2 lever-operated excavators. One is 3 Tonne and the second is 3.5 Tonne.
Does this course allow me to operate a Tracked or Wheeled-based Skid Steer?
Yes, on the successful completion of this course you will qualified to operate a Tracked or Wheeled Base Skid Steer (Bobcat).
