Temporary Traffic Management
TC1 - TMI1 Combined Skill Set
The TC1 , TMI1 combined skill set training, will give you the knowledge and skills required to work on urban streets and low volume roads. This training is recommended for individuals responsible for traffic control and traffic implementation on Temporary Traffic Management Category 1 roads.
TC1 | TMI1 - Non Practitioner
All individuals will need to complete the new National Traffic Management training before their current qualification/s expires. This course is for Non- Practitioner individuals needing to transition their current relevant Workzone ticket to TC1, TMI1 status
TC1 | TMI1 - Non Practitioner Transition
All individuals will need to complete the new National Traffic Management training before their current ticket and or qualification/s expire. This course is for Non- Practitioner individuals.
TC1 | TC2 Combined Practitioner Transition
TC1 TC2 Transition is for those who have successfully completed TMI1 and TMI2 Transition and met all the requirements as set out in the Austroads guidelines.
TC2 | TMI2 Combined Skill Set
TC2, TMI2 is for those who have successfully completed in full TC1 , TMI1 and completed all practical, placement and post course requirements. These skill sets are for individuals responsible for working on category 2 roads.
TMI1 | TMI2 Combined | Practitioner Transition
Transition training for current individuals currently working in the industry, holding existing qualification Level 3 – Work Zone Traffic Supervisor (WZ3) needing to transition to new NTFTTM Qualifications Traffic Management Implementer 1 (TMI1) and Traffic Management Implementer 2 (TMI2). If you are NOT an existing worker with current tickets then this course is not available for you please see TMI1, TC1 training for your needs.
TMI3
Gain your Traffic Management Implementation TMI3 with CTA. The TMI3 course will teach you the skills to work on motorways and freeways. Please note this training can only be completed after successful completion of TMI1 and TMI2 and met all post course requirements.

Short Term Low Impact - Temporary Traffic Management Course
The TTM STLI course is designed for workers performing short-term, low-impact tasks that do not require accredited traffic management personnel. This includes roles like maintenance, surveying, or other tasks requiring minimal traffic disruption under simplified Traffic Guidance Schemes.
TTM Utility Worker Training
The Utilities Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) Worker Accreditation course is intended for individuals employed either directly or indirectly by utility organisations that deliver essential public services, including water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications.
TTM - Short Term Low Impact
STLI tasks are temporary in nature and pose low safety risks, which means they can be carried out without formally accredited traffic controllers. These activities are guided by simplified Traffic Guidance Schemes and are authorised through appropriate on-site risk assessments that confirm static control measures are unnecessary.
Operate a Truck Mounted Attenuator
