Course Description
Warehousing essentials allows participants to gain entry skills in the warehousing industry. Ran across 3 days 9am-3pm. Upon successful completion of this 3-day training participants will receive a statement of attainment for accredited units and a statement of attendance for micro credentials within 14 days of completion.

Pre-Requisites
- Must hold 100 points of ID
- Must have a USI Number
- Must be able to complete a basic LLN
Education Pathways
Students who successfully complete the warehouse course may seek to undertake some of the following courses:
- TLILIC0003 – Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck
- TLILIC0004 – Licence to operate an Order Picking Forklift Truck
Assessment Process
The assessment process will involve both theoretical and practical analysis of the student. Assessment of practical performance will be done by direct observation from an assessor in real time to ensure you are well-equipped for real warehouse work.
Practical assessment will be conducted in a simulated real-life context relevant to the training. It may involve tasks such as: using an RF scanner to identify products; working with a voice picking system
Theoretical assessment involves demonstrating knowledge of key concepts, such as: risk and hazard assessment processes; safety and maintenance of equipment; and identifying health and safety legislations regarding construction work.
