What is a Registered Training Organisation?
A Registered Training Organisation is a business that has been accredited by the national regulating body, ASQA, to deliver Nationally Recognised Training. All RTO’s have their own provider codes to signify this accreditation, ours is RTO # 45608

Do you have parking at your training facility?
Hallam
Yes, we do! However, it is limited. Parking is to the left of the building as you drive through the gate. Alternatively, there is plenty of parking along Jamieson Way. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your course commencing to secure a parking spot.
Laverton
Yes. Parking at our Laverton Facility is either inside the gates or on the street, which there is plenty of.
What happens if I turn up late?
We encourage all course attendees to be prepared and to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of their course.
Are there breaks during the courses?
Yes, there is! The courses are constructed to allow for 2 breaks across the day, 15 minutes for morning tea and half an hour for lunch. We also provide all the amenities that you need, lunchrooms and kitchenware. We ask that you please be respectful of our facilities.
When do I pay for my course?
Your course is to be paid for in full prior to your commencement, either online through our website or over the phone.
Can I pay for my course on the day?
The short answer is yes. But it is preferred that it is done online or over the phone beforehand. This prevents no-shows, and people taking up spots that others could use. A $10 surcharge will be required if you are paying on the day.
What happens if I pay but can’t make it? Can I get my money back?
Please refer to our Refunds Policy if necessary. Alternatively, we will credit your spot to another time and day that suits yourself as we don’t want you to miss out on upskilling.
Are there additional costs involved when booking?
There are no additional fees for paying via credit card.

Do you store my credit card/payment details?
No. Your payment details and methods are not stored in our system.
How will my name appear on my certificate/card?
Our system will print your name EXACTLY as you enter it into the enrolment screen. Please take care to spell your name correctly and use capitals. (First name, Last name)
What happens if I fail?
If you fail, the team at CTA will provide support and guidance to reschedule yourself to sit another class.
How do I log into my account?
Go to www.cta.edu.au Click on ‘Login’ at the top right of the screen. Enter your email address and password you set up when you enrolled in your course.
I can't remember my password. What do I do?
Enter your email address in the login bar at the top right of our website. Then click on the ’forgot password‘ tab, this will give you the option to create a new password.
I’m having trouble logging in. Why would this be?
- Have you forgotten your password?
- Are you entering it incorrectly?
- Does your username or password contain a mixture of upper and lower-case letters?
- It should be entered exactly as you registered.
- Are cookies enabled on your browser?
- Try logging out of your computer and re-try.
- If you can’t determine the reason, please contact us and we will fix it for you asap.
- Remember, when you first register with us, you will have received an email that contains your username and password. Please search your email inbox for your registration email.
How do I book in my staff to do training?
At CTA, we offer you the ability to purchase/book in your staff for training. Simply click on the “Corporate” tab in the navigation bar of this website to gain further information.
I work for an employment agency and I would like to make a booking for one or multiple of my clients. How do I do this?
Employment agencies can register and book in their clients for courses. Simply click on the “Corporate” tab in the navigation bar of this website to gain further information.
I have a student Visa. Can I train with CTA?
The short answer is no. We are not registered for CRICOS. The Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students is a register of Australian education institutions that recruit, enrol and teach overseas students. What is a Unique Student Identifier or USI?
When you start your course, you will be asked to supply your Unique Student Identifier (USI). If you don’t already have a USI you’ll be asked to create one.
I don’t have a USI number. How do I get one?
Applying for a Unique Student Identifier (USI) is free of charge and just takes a few minutes to do. Begin by visiting https://www.usi.gov.au/ You’ll need to have a form of ID ready to complete your application. This could be any of the following;
- Driver’s Licence
- Medicare Card
- Australian Passport
- Visa
- Australian Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Registration by Descent
- Citizenship Certificate
You’ll then need to supply some personal information including your name, date of birth, place of birth, gender and country in which you intend to study. Finally, you need to provide answers to some check questions that you will be asked the next time you try to access the website. Once you have completed the online form, you will be issued with a USI that can be used to access your account and check training details at any time.
I have forgotten my USI number. What do I do?
If you have forgotten or lost your USI, you can retrieve it online. You will need to enter a few details to verify who you are to find your USI. The details must be the same as those you entered when you applied for a USI or, if you did so, when you last updated your USI account. Go to www.usi.gov.au/faqs/i-have-forgotten-my-usi
Will my USI appear on my training certificate/card?
No, under legislation your USI number must not be printed on your qualification or statement of attainment.
I'm not able to proceed with my enrolment but I know my USI is correct
You must make sure that you use the exact same name and format that you used when applying for your USI. i.e. If you used a middle name when applying for your USI, you must include your middle name when enrolling in courses, (all letters are case sensitive).
