Course Description
This entry-level course builds a strong foundation in front end loader operation. You will learn how to:
- Plan and prepare for front end loader tasks (site planning, risk awareness)
- Conduct pre-operational safety checks and shutdown procedures
- Operate the front end loader safely – lifting, carrying and placing materials
- Select, fit and use attachments
- Relocate machinery
- Conduct operator maintenance and site clean-up
Units and Certification
RIIMPO321F – Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations
- On successful completion, participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment and a competency card
Course Delivery
- Pre-course learner guide and workbook provided upon enrolment
- Combination of theory and practical sessions across 2 workshop days
- Delivered at CTA training facilities or onsite (for group bookings)
Pre-Requisites
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants will be required to undertake pre-course reading and an activity book to ensure an understanding of the learning content that will be reviewed in the class contact time. These materials will be supplied to the students upon enrolment and payment of the course.
- CTA Create Train Achieve does not have CRICOS accreditation and is unable to train students on an ‘International Student’ VISA.
