Course Description
Responsible Service of Alcohol is mandatory for licensees and hospitality staff who are in positions of offering, selling or serving liquor in any environment. Our RSA course provides the skills and knowledge required to work safely and confidently, providing both theoretical and practical training.
In our RSA course, you will learn how to:
- Understand your obligations under the law;
- Identify customers who may need to be refused service of alcohol;
- Responsibly assist customers to drink within appropriate limits; and
- Assist alcohol-affected customers.
- It is important to note that there may be minor differences between RSA training in different states. This RSA course will cover the responsibilities and certification needed for work in QLD

Course Delivery
Our RSA course is conducted in a single day online, giving all students the best chance to put their training into practice.
Pre-Requisites
Minimum 16 years of age ( Cannot use in a licensed Premises until the age of 18, unless granted exemption from employer)
Must be able to provide 100 points of ID
A valid USI number
You must be able to complete a basic Language, Literacy and numeracy test prior to commencement (LLN)

Upon completing our Responsible Service of Alcohol training, you may want to consider the following courses:

Assessment Process
This training is nationally recognised and meets the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF).
CTA approximates the completion time for this accredited unit will be four (4) hours.
To successfully complete this training, learner must:
Complete each module 100%
Achieve 85% or higher on the final assessment
Once you have completed the RSA, there is no need to do it again. This certificate does not expire even when the unit code changes through AQTF.
You are required to refresh your training once every 3 years. Should you need a replacement copy of your certificate, CTA can provide one for you for an administration fee.
